The Valiant One

To they who have passed on the torch of freedom; You live on in our hearts and minds. And to the next generation of patriots who must pick up that torch and carry on; May the grace of God be with you on your watch!

Please remember the valiant ones today,

Jake.

God Bless the Veteran

“I swear to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America from all enemies, foreign and domestic…”

The Valiant One

Rest in peace oh, valiant one

your mission accomplished

and a job well done!

Our nation’s freedom remain intact

because, for those like you

she’s never lacked.

They who serve for freedom’s cause

deserve all honors

without pause.

Liberty survives now, thanks to you

and all your comrades

brave and true.

So rest in peace oh, valiant one

you’ve been relieved,

your watch is done!

My grandchild came over to our house after school on Veteran’s Day and said they celebrated at school. I’m glad that they are teaching the little ones to appreciate those who serve our country.

    • I am indeed pleasantly surprised to know that there are still schools that will celebrate the tradition and honor of Veterans Day, too many schools and teachers are moving so far to the left of center, that all too soon our veterans will be seen as the villain and not the valiant. Thanks for sharing this with me YS.

I served for a year …this touches me on many levels

    • I wish to thank you for your service, and your comment. We must all stick together in these times of threat to that which we have sworn an oath to protect and defend. Again thank you for your loyalty and your service..
