Politics In Haiku (Part II)

It has been awhile dear friends since I have posted anything, so I thought that when I posted today it should be something topical. And immediately, politics came to mind and my Haiku postings usually garner a healthy audience, so I will combine the two and give you another “Politics In Haiku” in which I believe there are a lot of truths and a little humor.. Enjoy!

This day holds wonders                                                                                                               rejoice in those you’re given                                                                                                   too many unable.

Politics In Haiku

(Part II)

Lies and promises

usually are the same

politically.

……………………………………………..

Voters seldom feel

remorse before elections

regret comes after.

………………………………………………..

Party politics

is the bane of the people

and freedom of thought.

………………………………………………..

Damage done today

will upon the future rest

we must vote wisely.

…………………………………………………

True leaders are born

money creates the phony

how much is enough?
