Heads Or Tails

A new poem just finished today and while not intentionally socio-political, in retrospect, it may in many ways reflect on that which is happening in/to this country. I will leave it at that and allow you to form your own opinions and draw your own conclusions.

     Enjoy your weekend everyone,

Jake.

What's it gonna be? Good for you or good for me?

What’s it gonna be?
Good for you or good for me?

Heads Or Tails

One man’s blessing

is another man’s cross.

~

One man’s treasure

is another man’s loss.

~

One man’s ore

is another man’s dross.

~

While one man’s pleasure

is another man’s boss.

~

One man’s gift

has another man’s cost.

~

One man’s meltdown

is another man’s frost.

~

One man’s found

was another man’s lost.

~

And one man’s line

another man’s crossed.

  1. Ankur Mithal says:

Whole new perspective on the simple old meat and poison story of two men.

    • Thanks Ankur, as we must all taste of the poison in life in one form or another, the challenge then becomes choosing the poison that will not destroy us, but will become the antidote to make us stronger and allow us to appreciate the “good meat” which we are provided..
Your comment(s) are always welcome please come back soon and often,
