REFLECTIONS (page ten)

I’m taking a page from my friend Beth Ann over at “It’s Just Life.” (It’s Just Life.wordpress.com) She has ‘wordless Wednesday‘ I’m doing mindless Monday…. These are just some things that my demented side comes up with now and then. Have a laugh or a chuckle, a chortle or snicker, but don’t laugh too hard, remember your ticker.

Have a monstrous Monday,

Jake.

Reflections

(page ten)

The days of our youth,

are as sweet as vermouth.

 But, unlike the wine,

we bitter with time.

 From too much exposure,

to truth.

……………………………………………………………………………………….

 Those who do the least,

get the least to do.

And those who do the most,

get what the least, don’t do.

………………………………………………………………………………………..

 Women forgive, but never forget,

they remember each tiny detail.

So, while your forgiven,

you’ll always be livin’

on the platform,

above the third rail.

………………………………………………………………………………………..

When you have to stand up,

and face the music.

Why is it never,

a tune that you like?

………………………………………………………………………………………….

 Children and puppies and kittens,

so cute, and obliging of hugs.

Can cost you a whole lot of money.

With the damage they do to your rugs.

…………………………………………………………………………………………

The alphabet, when I went to school,

began with A,B,C.

But I guess now, I’m just an old fool,

seems it now starts with A,D,D.
