God Bless The Servants Of Freedom

American Military Insignia

In Defense of Freedom

With Veteran’s Day approaching I would like to offer a prayer or a wish if you will for our current servants of freedom and for those who have sacrificed for our great and honorable nation.

Please respect our troops and our vets,

God Bless The Servants Of Freedom

May God save

the “Home of the Brave”

and protect they

who keep her free.

All around the world

where our flag’s unfurled

on land and on

the sea!

Where freedom’s decried

and human rights denied

you know that’s where

they’ll be.

Yes, may God bless this land

and every woman and man

who serves

to keep her free!

  2. Beautiful poem in its gratefulness for those who serve to keep us free.

    • Few realize at the time of their entrance into service how important they are to this nation, as ungrateful and unappreciative it can seem at times, those who serve will always be honored by those who have served! Thank you so much for your thoughts and kind words Audrey.
