FootPrints

It is now 5:45 pm est. and I am going to attempt to write a poem in the next 15 minutes, right before your eyes.

Footprints

Each step we take on life’s given path

will be forever lost to time

if we don’t reflect upon the mark

that it leaves behind.

Footprints are soon washed away

if not noticed for their worth.

if not only by ourselves are seen

and by our precious, Mother Earth.

  2. You wrote this reflective poem in 15 minutes? I am impressed.

  3. And I had no thought as to a subject when I started only a motivational challenge to write SOMETHING.. So that is why when I told you before that sometimes the hardest part is having a subject, I may have been quite mistaken, perhaps the hardest part is simply having the motivation to write,(a sort of mental kick in the pants) and then let the rest of it come as it may.
Thank you as always Audrey for your kind words and comments.

  4. I’m more worried about the Feds getting my finger prints.

    • Are you kidding me they’ve had them for years.. We are all in some data base somewhere.. If you worked for any organization, military, union, school department etc. they probably have your DNA too. Lol
