I was going to save this for Christmas week, but I think it may be more appropriate now. Speak-up don’t be intimidated by political correctness.
Merry Christmas to all!!
Jake.
MERRY CHRISTMAS I SAY
Where have gone, those days of yore
when Christmas brought jubilation?
Where have gone, those of the faith
who rejoiced in its celebration?
And when did “Merry Christmas”
become offensive in this nation?
And who, now dare to say those words
and thus be faced with denigration?
***
Well, I for one will stand and say
to but one, or congregation,
I wish to all a “Merry Christmas”
and do so with elation!
For I will not be silenced by
convention nor intimidation.
And as Jesus was born on Christmas Day
I will proudly share His inspiration!

Merry Christmas, Jake!!! Hope you have a wonderful day with all your loved ones close by!
Beth Ann, you know that I wish the same for you and your family and that the New Year brings you great joy and great health.
Merry CHRISTmas, Jake! My husband and I rang bells for the Salvation Army on Saturday. Several people who passed us intentionally and loudly stated, “Happy Holidays!” We continued with our wishes for a Merry Christmas!
What is wrong with people? Political correctness brings out the worst in some. And it does nothing to promote freedom of expression. MERRY CHRISTMAS Audrey to you and Randy and all of your loved ones everywhere.
