Same Old, Same Old

Happy New Year.. May it at least, be no worse than the last!

Happy New Year.. May it at least, be no worse than the last!

Now that we have passed into the new year, and the resolutions that we make are now front and center. Such as: “I’m going to be a better person this year”… “I’m going to lose weight, this year” “I will attend church more often this year”…  “I will exercise regularly this year”… I will donate more to charity this year”… And then for me, there comes reality, you see, I have a history!!

     Now, I hope that you all have more resolve than yours truly and that you will achieve all of the goals you have set  for the year ahead, but as for me it will most likely be the;

Same Old, Same Old

So, there’s another

new year

now upon us

but I’m thinking

it’ll be the same

as the last.

Oh, I’ll make

my resolutions

to be better

but, then resort

to what I’ve been

in the past.

I think you are just fine doing the same old same old!!!!

  2. Got a better chance of success if you make just two. If you follow through on one that .500 batting average – even Ted Williams could not do that !

  3. Denise Downing says:

New year we can all try!

  4. That is the very reason for resolutions after all…
