Keeping Christ In Christmas

Here in the United States, it has become increasingly popular to homogenize the “Christmas Season” and it seems we have forgotten the true meaning of it. Over recent years we have allowed some, in our society, to dictate to the vast majority the do’s and don’t’s as to what is “politically correct” or not. Well,  I Don’t Care what they say, because I say, “MERRY CHRISTMAS” to EVERYONE as it is my way of  offering a wish of goodwill and peace to all during this, our most celebrated, time of year.

So, I will now take this time to wish all of you, the most blessed and merriest of Christmas’.

Jake.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Keeping Christ In Christmas

From out of the east, the three kings

they had come,

following a star more bright

than the sun.

Seeking the Child who was born

on this day

in the small town of Bethlehem

so far away.

They brought with them gifts

befitting a king

and all the world was at peace

whilst the angels did sing.

In a manger of straw, wrapped in linen

of white

there our Savior, was born

on a calm shining night.

And then the kings did bow down

in worship and praise,

before He who would suffer and die

for our ways.

You see, there’s more meaning to Christmas

than just presents and a tree

so, you’ll not hear “happy holiday”

but, “Merry Christmas” from me.
