Just in case you were wondering (which I seriously doubt) yes, I am still writing. Here is a poem with a bit of tongue-in-cheek humility. The humor in it is intended although perhaps not readily recognizable by the reader.

And This I leave Unto You
My Legacy
I am an unknown to most of the world
and my existence, but a second in time,
yet still, I have worth
to bestow on this earth
and a legacy that I’ll leave behind.
I have made people smile as I came and I went
and I’ve caused no intentional harm,
yes, I took everyday
in the very same way
with aplomb and an abundance, of charm.

Ah, you are too kind Beth Ann. I’m certainly very happy that I make you smile. It is something that I revel in, when I can make someone smile,chuckle or laugh, it makes my day more pleasant too.
