Nursery Rhymes And Fairy Tales Revisited (part 7)

Another nursery rhyme viewed  from different angle.. Today’s child would be treated entirely different than those of a bygone day and age.

I’m having fun with these I hope you are as well.

     Have a fantastic Friday everyone,

Jake.

Time out for Jackie.

Time out for Jackie.

Jackie Horner’s Timeout

 Now little Jackie Horner

was sitting in a corner

where undoubtedly

he was sent for timeout.

 *

He stuck a dirty little thumb

in search of a plum

into the pie

that his mother set out.

 *

It was meant for the guests

and was surely her best

at least that was what

she did shout.

 *

His thumb and his face

were a purple disgrace

and so should his bum be,

no doubt.
