A little bit of Haiku in honor of the newest World Series Champions, The Boston Red Sox  of 2013, who went from worst to first in one year. Congratulations Boston!!

Have a “championship” type week everyone,

Jake.

The first World Series won at Fenway Park since 1918. 95 years in the making.

Sports In Haiku

Boston Red Sox win

championship banner flies

over Fenway Park.

……………………………………………….

Two million fans lined

city’s Duck-Boat Parade route

shouting, Boston strong.

 ……………………………………………………………….

Facial hair abounds

symbolic of unity

together they grew.

………………………………………………………………

Two million fans lining the parade route.

Two million fans lining the parade route.
