Interjections And Reflections (10,13, & 16)

It has been a little while since I have given you a taste from the Interjections and Reflections files. So, I thought what a better time to do it than a weekend when they will have less of a chance of being seen. The font and type size are merely reflective of the stage of development of this blog and of how apathetic I can be..

I hope you will find something, in the following, that you will like,

Jake.

Interjections And Reflections

Be generous with praise.

But, not so much,

as to be suspicious.

……………………………………………………………..

Bodily functions, are like Savings Bonds.

They don’t get a whole lot of interest,

until reaching maturity.

…………………………………………………………………

Ignorance is the weed

in the garden of man.

……………………………………………………………………

Women forgive, but never forget,

they remember each tiny detail.

So, while your forgiven,

you’ll always be livin’

on the platform,

above the third rail.

………………………………………………………………………

It’s better to lose, by a mile,

than it is to lose, by an inch.

For the sting of a spanking, fades faster,

than the pain that can come, from a pinch.

 ………………………………………………………………………………

With the welfare state of mind,

that in this land we find,

this thought has now occurred to me.

Just to cry “Oh woe, is me,

is like “Open Sesame”

I fear we have become, a bit too kind.

……………………………………………………………………………………….
