The Horse Of Death

     HEROIN… Enough said!

And to the lancer death awaits

And to the lancer death awaits

The Horse Of Death

 Upon the horse of death

the lancer rides

leaving in his tracks

all sense of pride,

when unable to dismount

he must reside

within the living hell

that burns inside.

Rarely is the hellfire

put aside

by the tears of mothers

nightly cried,

for the rider has to move,

he has to hide.

Forsaking all but Satan,

though he has tried.

The horse of death

takes many in its stride

some tall and lean,

some short and wide.

But, for most of those

who’ll sit astride,

be remembered just,

as one more lancer, died.
