Nature In Haiku

Haiku has become a favorite of mine, I find it fairly easy to write so long as I have a subject. Well today’s subject is nature, and the material is almost unlimited. But we must draw the line somewhere, so now,  for your reading pleasure are a half-dozen of my most recent.

     Have a wonderful week everyone,

Jake.

NATURE IN HAIKU

Nature In Haiku

 The rose’s fragrance

is the world’s heavenly gift

an Angel’s perfume.

……………………………………………………

 Destructive are winds

of tropical origin

hurricane season.

……………………………………………………..

 Honey in the hive

is the nectar that the bee

hides from man and bear.

……………………………………………………..

 For millennium

the grain of sand has journeyed

far from the great rock.

………………………………………………………….

 Plants and weeds will thrive

together in wilderness

when untouched by man.

…………………………………………………………..

 At the fullest moon

the wolf’s howl be most mournful

its reign now waning.

……………………………………………………………
