A little nonsense poem for you today, Tuesdays are a perfect nonsense day aren’t they?
Have fun,
Jake.
A View From The Log
The frog on the log
in the middle of a bog
kept watch as the dog
sneaked up on a hog.
*
While up in the sky
the hawk, on the fly
had the frog, in his eye
just awaiting his try.
*
Meanwhile, back on the ground
the hog spun around
and charged at the hound
who ran back to the pound.
*
But, the hawk in the air
had no worry or care
it was a frog sitting there
not a gator, or bear.
*
He had thought with a grin
that he’d simply sweep in
and with a spiraling spin
to the log, the frog, he would pin.
*
Now the frog he did feel
the danger for real
so into the bog he did steal
leaving the hawk and the hog there to squeal.

I feared for the frog
Who sat on the log
That’s all I’ve got…….
🙂
Have some more grog to come out of that fog and perhaps your mind it will jog to fear more for the dog. Thank you..
Oh man…..I need some grog! I am in the library and the lights keep going out on me because I don’t move enough when I blog, I guess. Some grog would help….
