The Fourth Of July In Haiku

On vacation this week, and not taking the computer with me, but I couldn’t let the “fourth” go by(e) without posting something for you.. So I will combine the Holiday with Haiku. I hope you will smile, think, and reflect on what America’s birthday means to you.

Happy Birthday America,

Jake.

God Bless America. Happy Birthday.

God Bless America. Happy Birthday.

The Fourth Of July In Haiku

Independence Day

fireworks at dark on display

colorful array.

……………………………………………………….

America lives

and to the whole world she gives

mistakes, none forgives.

…………………………………………………………..

Humid hot hazy

burgers and dogs like crazy

hammocks for lazy.

……………………………………………………………….

May God bless again

may He remember her when

welcomed was He then.

………………………………………………………………….

The red white and blue

I will promise unto you

my allegiance true.
