Sundays In Haiku

It has been a while since I’ve given you some Haiku, so this morning I wrote these and I will hope that you like them, and that you don’t find them to be a….”Stink-o de my-o”…. In any case happy Cinco de Mayo to all of my Mexican friends, of which I have many, well some, maybe one, okay, none of which I am aware. But have a Corona or Dos XX for me.

Sundays are unique for each of us, so enjoy yours to the fullest,

Jake.

SUNDAYS IN HAIKU

Sundays In Haiku

Inner peace awaits

when the workweek is complete

with one day of rest.

…………………………………………………………

Cathedrals fill up

but God too, may be worshiped

in structures and out.

……………………………………………………………..

Lawnmowers awaken

at the most ungodly hour

disturbing our dreams.

………………………………………………………………

Sundays in summer

are times for good food and drink

Mondays come early.

………………………………………………………………..

Family and friend

let us gather together

for peace let us pray.

………………………………………………………………….
