Reflections, Interjections and Ponderings

Just a few thoughts for the day.

Jake.

You can educate,

the illiterate.

As well, the uninformed.

But ignorance,

the greater task.

For it takes on,

so many forms.

……………………………………………………………..

Information, is a weapon,

handle it, with care,

keep it, out of the reach, of children,

you know, they like to share.

It can be explosive,

when in the wrong hands, it’s placed,

and if it’s fouled, or dirty,

it will blow up, in your face.

 …………………………………………………………………..

If the last politician to be called “honest”

died at Ford’s Theater in 1865

can we really give credence

to any of the others campaign promises?

Ha! Many truths here, Jake. I love it. 🙂

    • Thanks Denise.. Years ago (many, many years ago) there was a TV show here called “Kids Say The Darndest Things” Starring Art Linkletter, it was hilarious, the “secrets” the kids would tell about their family would have you laughing out loud..

I remember that show, but I often forgot to watch it. It really showed how kids’ minds worked and was hilarious!

      • Yeah it was that for sure.. He had a show, either before or after called “People Are Funny” back then humor was kept clean and it still was hilarious..
