Recollections, Interjections, Reflections And Something To Ponder

Here are just a few things that I have collected in the dust bin of my brain. I hope that you like them, but if not, I hope you will forgive me for sharing them with you this Tuesday morning.

Take time today to travel, even if physically, you can’t go anywhere,

Jake.

Recollections, Interjections, Reflections And Something To Ponder

***

I have worked at a number of jobs

none of which, taxed my brain.

I have sold, one vacuum cleaner

and drove a taxi in the sun and rain.

I have worked in a shop, making car tools

and toiled at the bowling lanes.

I have changed your tires and moved your mail,

all of which gave me pains.

But with that being said, I am grateful

for the friends and the knowledge I’ve gained

………………………………………………………………………

Do not give away the store,

to those who would rob it anyway.

At least make them work for something.

…………………………………………………………………………………………….

The children are ours,

to raise like flowers.

They grow, they blossom,

they bloom.

But, when they grow wild,

the flower, or child,

they need to be clipped,

and be pruned.

……………………………………………………………………………………

Do we really need a down escalator?

……………………………………………………………………………..

I am staying with one of those little flowers I raised this week and fortunately he did not need much clipping! 😉 Other than leaving all his ironing for me to do when I visit…….

I love your common sense, Jake, especially the need (or lack of) for a down escalator.

    • We are always being told that as a society, we are overweight, and while it may not be much.. “Every little bit helps,” said the old lady as she peed in the ocean. lol Thanks so much for your thoughts and comments Denise.
