Interjections And Reflections

Just a few thoughts to “ponder” on this Wednesday in January. These are things that come into my mind on occasion or situation. I hope that you will read them, and possibly take something from them, whether it be a chuckle or something a little more serious.

Enjoy,

Jake.

Interjections And Reflections

Place no trust in people,

that as of yet,

you never knew,

and but of course,

excepting few,

trust even less the ones, you do.

…………………………………………………………………..

The mirror lies,

right to my eyes,

that’s not my face, I see.

Who is that there,

with grey, thinning hair?

I’m sure now, no, that’s not me!

………………………………………………………………………….

The sting from the wasp

will always come from behind!

…………………………………………………………………………..

Just because the jackass

is at the head of the plow

that doesn’t make him a leader.

…………………………………………………………………………..

Liberty demands for our attention,

for freedom’s tethered not, to you and me.

Expecting always, without doubt, its retention,

is folly, and a peril to the free.

…………………………………………………………………………………….
