2012

This past January, as the whole of mankind wondered if this indeed would be the end of the world as we know it, and being part of said mankind, I pondered as well. And this is what I came up with, and now I think it is safe to say that we’ve made it. So here in retrospect, was what I was thinking at the time. So it is with great relief and expectation, that I extend to all of you wishes for a Happy New Year, 2013. Yes to you, and to all of the Maya, wherever they may be!

Jake.

We ain't supposed to be here..

THE MAYA WERE WRONG!

2012

What lies in wait

for us this year,

is there more hope,

than there is fear?

Is there more laughter

than there are tears,

and, is this really,

the last of years?

 *

Are the portends false

or are they true,

could this be the year,

this earth is through?

I fear this not

for I ask of you,

where went the Mayans,

if they knew?
