A Prayer for those who are suffering in Connecticut

I intended a lighter post for this morning, but somehow that seems inappropriate on this day. For there is no light-heartedness in Connecticut, or anywhere else in New England or throughout the country, for that matter. God received a lot of innocent souls yesterday, on Friday December 14, 2012, and for those souls there is no doubt that they are with Him on this day. The prayers that are needed are for the families, the friends, the classmates and co-workers, for the first responders who were faced with such a gruesome and heart-rendering scenario. For the community as a whole, for the souls of his parents and all of the surviving family members of the assassin, who will certainly and unfairly, bear the burden of this tragedy. May God grant peace and strength unto all of the victims, today and during the sorrowful and trying days ahead.

For these things I pray, please take a moment today, and ask God for His Blessing upon them.

Jake.
