On A Whim And A Lark

It’s Monday, right? Then you’ll understand the mood that I’m in. But I’ve got to snap out of the funk.  For, “tis the season to be jolly.” Ho, ho, ho.

Well, well, this just might help..!

     Make YOUR Monday more manageable,

Jake.

Lark Whisky

Attitude adjustment.

On A Whim And A Lark

Grey skies mirror

the state I am in.

Where depression resides

and lingers within.

But strive I must,

to retrieve my smile.

And return to that place

I’ve not been in a while.

Where the sun is shining

to brighten my way.

And I am at peace

with myself, every day.

Where the bluebirds sing

from morn, until dark.

And all things are done,

on a whim and a lark.
