Christmas Gift

I know it is still a few weeks away, but I’m trying to get into the mood earlier this year than I normally do..

Puppy Love

What? It’s for me right?

Tis the season,

to be blessed,

not the reason,

to be stressed.

 Remember why,

we celebrate,

it’s the birth of Christ,

not the gifts, ornate.

 In your heart,

your presents lie,

not in shopping carts,

with what you buy.

So, give to those,

you hold so dear,

a love that grows,

from year to year.

Love this one, as usual, you nailed it!! Blessings to you!

    • Thank you Beth Ann, with all of the commercialism of Christmas now, or “The HOLIDAY Season” as they insist we refer to it, sometimes we forget what it is all about.. MERRY CHRISTMAS, is what we were raised with and MERRY CHRISTMAS it will stay, at least for me, and many others that I know.. We as Christians cannot allow ourselves to be bullied by the non-believers.. I wonder what would happen if Christians refused to shop at stores that did not recognize and refer to Christmas as Christmas? Sorry for the rant, and thanks again.
