River Of Heartbreak

I’m sorry for the lackluster performances lately, but as I explained yesterday, we are very busy at work and my time here at “Blog-Central” is extremely limited. So enjoy that while you can, because in the words of ‘ARNOLD’, “I’ll be back!

The spinning wheel stopped on this one from April of this year, it tells the story of relationships that cease to be.. And how for one it is a relief and for the other it brings grief.. But in the end it is all part of life and the process of natural selection.

Though not all of the results of those break-ups, lead to the happiness of the “dumper” and the “dumpee” sometimes has the last laugh.  For like clouds, heartbreak sometimes has a silver lining. You know what they say about payback.

Have a happy and safe Thursday,

Jake.

Heartbreak

Where do I go from here?

River of Heartbreak

From a trickle in a place,

on the far-side of nowhere,

and ever flowing faster,

to the sea,

that river runs through each of us,

and cleanses as it goes,

but in its wake,

leaves painful, memories.

Heartbreak is the name,

that’s given to it,

and standing on its banks,

are you and me.

Its current pulls apart,

the closest to it,

while the other, like a leaf,

goes sailing free.
