Did God Give Up On Us?

Sunday morning is perfect timing for this poem. It is very serious and spiritual in nature, and it does not need  much of  an introduction.

     Have a superior Sunday everyone,

      But ask yourselves this question…

Did God Give Up On Us?

Where now are the Angels?

Did the Devil win?

There is evil, all around us,

when did it all begin?

Did our God give up on us?

Did he throw the towel in?

Or was it us, and the fact be thus,

we have turned our backs, on Him?

Have we forgotten how to pray

except when peril enters in?

When a simple thank you Lord,

will bring Him back again!

Thank Him for the morning

and a new day to begin.

Then thank Him in the evening

and ask forgiveness for those sins.

Perhaps it’s not too late.

For if we just let Him in,

and give Him rest within our hearts,

then no way, does Satan win!
