Obese City

Two and a half years ago, give or take, I quit smoking cigarettes and lo and behold, everything they said about weight gain was spot on… Prior to quitting I had managed to lose quite a bit of poundage, however following the smoking cessation, I have regained 75% of said, lost poundage. Everything tastes so good, looks so good, smells so good, that’s it, I give up I’m moving!

I will let you know when I get settled in,(to my jogging pants and my sweatshirts, “winter attire” or my baggy shorts and tee shirts, “summer version”) and send you my official mailing address in Obese City.

 With ever-expanding friendship,

Obese City

 I’ve had enough

I’m packin’ my stuff

and I’m movin’

to Obese city.

Where everyone

is a bit rotund

and where skinny

isn’t so pretty.

Where I’ll have tons

of fun

and I’ll waddle

not run.

And I’ll never have to hear

what a pity.”
