KInda

Kinda pressed for time this AM, so a quickie introduction to this one.. It was originally another one of my “songs” but I came across it yesterday and thought “why not post it as a poem.”  So here it is..There is a lot of truth in the humor here, and I hope you all will like it.

Have a Monster Monday,

Jake.

KINDA

 You can’t be kinda pregnant,

and you can’t be, kinda dead.

But, you can be kinda smart,

and, you can be kinda read.

You can be, kinda hungry,

and put on, some kinda spread.

But, you can’t be kinda pregnant,

and, you can’t be kinda dead.

)(

You can, be kinda poor now,

and you can, be kinda rich.

You can, be kinda nice,

or some kinda, son of a bitch.

You can kinda, owe some money,

to the state, or to the Feds.

But, you can’t be kinda pregnant,

and, you can’t be kinda dead.

_†_

 You can, be kinda handsome,

and you can, be kinda bright.

You can be, kinda wrong,

and you can, be kinda right.

You can, be kinda blue,

and your face, be kinda red.

But, you can’t be kinda pregnant,

and, you can’t be kinda dead.

)(

 You can kinda cover up,

with some kinda paint.

You can, kinda try to be,

what you, kinda ain’t.

and, you can kinda, wanna be,

kinda, someone else instead.

But, you can’t be kinda pregnant,

and, you can’t be kinda dead.

_†_

You can kinda listen,

to the words, I have to say.

And I, would kinda think,

that would kinda, be okay.

You can kinda, be an Alice,

you can kinda, be a Ted.

But, you won’t be kinda pregnant,

and, you can’t be kinda dead.

)X(

No, you can’t be kinda pregnant,

and, you can’t be kinda dead.

Though you might, kinda want to,

when you’re kinda, full of dread.

You maybe, kinda crazy,

and kinda whacked out, of your head.

But, you can’t be kinda pregnant,

and, you can’t be kinda dead.

_†_

No, you can’t be kinda pregnant,

no, you can’t be kinda pregnant,

you’re never, kinda pregnant,

and, you’re never, kinda dead.
