Reflections/Interjections (Page thirteen)

Taking the easy way out again, as it is late, and I am thoughtless. Oops, I mean without thought,(rational or otherwise)though my wife would probably concur with the former. So naked still, the canvas be, as the palette thirsts for color, and the brush remains untouched.. In other words I can’t think of anything to say,,, so like it or not, here’s what I got!

     Have a merry old Monday,

Jake.

REFLECTIONS

(page thirteen)

*

 Blogging is like exposing yourself in public;

You get that titillating rush,

and you may offend some sensitivities,

but, I don’t have to wear that stupid raincoat.

 …………………………………………………………………………………

 Hard work and working hard,

may be totally different things.

But both, produce the same reward,

with the sense of accomplishment they bring.

 …………………………………………………………………………………

 On New Year’s resolutions:

 A year now has passed,

since we resolved last,

for to something or other improve.

How the months have flown by,

and for one, we did try,

then decided, we had nothing to prove.

 ……………………………………………………………………………………..

 If it’s true;

that your life passes before you, as you die,

doesn’t that then mean,

that the longer you live… the longer you die?

 ……………………………………………………………………………………….

 It’s better to lose, by a mile,

than it is to lose, by an inch.

For the sting of a spanking, fades faster,

than the pain that can come, from a pinch.
