I had intended this one to be the final post in the series, but being that the final post would most likely come on a weekend,(Super Bowl Sunday no less) I decided to put it out there on Friday instead. I think it may be the best of the lot, but that’s up to you to decide.

Bashful
In an instant
she’d flush
and the blood
would all rush
to her face
and her blush,
at, a mere look,
from the lad.
And, though he carried
a crush
he held fear
of the brush
so no words
from him gushed,
and both, never knew,
oh, how sad!

Very sweet and a lovely close for a Friday. I shall not ask you whom you’re rooting for…I think I was on that planet that no longer exists where little Giants live small. As I replied to your comment on blog, in the end, we hope for a close game (nail biter), cheers!! ~
Thank you for your nice comment on my poem. However, I have a question for you.. How can you root for a team that eliminated the(your) vaunted Green Bay Packers from the play-offs..for shame, for shame. On Sunday next, I will reveal where my loyalties lie, in my post, tentatively titled “A Super Bowl Prayer.” Oh btw, space exploration has done wonders for your humor..
