(part six)

She tugged the leash and the dog fell in,

to walk along beside,

back to the house, and there to face,

the one who knew just why.

She would demand a reason,

then the truth find, in his eyes.

And she’d not tolerate avoidance,

honesty, she would command,

and confront the fear, not hide,

it was time to take that stand.
