The Right To Remain Silent

After watching the news the past couple of days, I am convinced we are loosing our “America”. Illegal, oh, I’m sorry ‘undocumented’ immigrants, are complaining that the U.S. Government is assisting the State Government in locating and attempting to deport, those poor, unfortunate, ‘undocumented’ immigrants, back to where they belong. At the same time our “brilliant” politicians are telling us that we have to put America back to work! Well, ‘No Sh*t, Sherlock’. Here’s a formula for that. Keep deporting illegal aliens, build a more secure border (use American labor), hire more American border guards, Oh, yeah, deport anyone hiring or abetting ‘undocumented’ immigrants along with them. Finally, take discretionary sentencing away from the Socialist judges. Mandatory deportation, for first offense. Subsequent offense(s), ‘hard time’, as we are going to support them one way or another.

One fed-up American,

Jake.

The Right To Remain Silent

 Don’t speak to me,

about your rights,

if you sneak through,

the fence, at night.

Or, cross the border,

in a van,

driven by,

the greedy man.

Or, if you sail,

on board a raft,

or pay your way,

with bribe, or graft.

You cannot steal,

what’s given free,

to those,

who, do it properly.

The only right,

you have, I see,

is the right to leave,

so please, feel free.

Then if and when,

you should come back,

with legal papers,

in your pack.

Then I will listen,

to your speech,

about your rights,

all, and each.

Now Spring has arrived and now I must decide, which clothes that I can still wear. But I haven't lost any weight so I guess it's my fate to rummage through my closet and swear.
