The Warrior’s Pride

To all who battle, whether you win or lose, there is pride deserved, if you give everything you have, to the endeavor, and leave nothing in reserve. Hold your head high and know you have done your best!

The Warrior’s Pride

 For every winner,

there is a loser, still,

trying to swallow,

the bitter pill.

That, to the victor,

the accolades, are passed,

and the conquered’s fate,

in stone, is cast.

With, heads bowed low,

they leave the field.

But, if nothing more,

they have left, to yield,

then they too,

have pride, to show.

That to defeat,

they did not, lightly, go.
