It is human nature I guess, to look past the present and wonder what the future has in store for us. The problem with that as I see it, is that we miss a lot of good things happening in our lives today, while pondering our tomorrows..
If you enjoy all of your todays, then the tomorrows will take care of themselves.
TOMORROW
 Tomorrow, tomorrow,
what, will you bring,
sunshine and flowers,
and songbirds, to sing?
*
 Or dark clouds, and raindrops,
and vultures, on wing,
tomorrow, tomorrow,
what will, you bring?
*
 Tomorrow, tomorrow,
elusive, and fleet,
what lay in store,
to be laid, at my feet?
*
 Will there be laughter,
will there, be hope?
But, for twenty-four hours,
with today I’ll just cope.

Tomorrow will come,
In 24 hours,
And with it I hope,
Will come some flowers.
Maybe with some cake
and ice cream, too
To help me celebrate
Turning 52!
(I am no poet…..like you!)
Wow, who says you’re not a poet? That’s all it takes a little thought and…Poof you’re a poet. HAPPY BIRTHDAY… Tomorrow’s your birthday let me be the first to wish you the best and fifty-two’s not the worst. For the worst is the one that I will go through on June 23rd I’ll be sixty-two.* *(Actually I’ll be 65, but it didn’t rhyme) THE HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS BETH ANN. Your “old” pal, Jake.

Actually when I hit 50 I said I was going to start going backwards so I guess I am 48…
Sometimes the comments here are as fun to read as the poems.
Oh, yeah… nice poem, by the way.
You are sweet, thanks as always.
