Sneezy

First let me start off by saying, that yesterday’s post “A Super Bowl Prayer” did not help the Patriots as you all know by now..However,  I do believe that all prayers are answered, and that sometimes His answer is NO. Which appears to be the case with yesterday.

Well now for the conclusion of the theme posts of last week, and again I do hope you like it.

I’m having a moping Monday, and hoping you aren’t.

Jake.

Sneezy

 It seemed at the time,

inconsequential, at best,

just a little tickle in the nose,

and a slight rattle in the chest.

Just a single ‘achoo’,

yeah, just one single sneeze,

that would lead to the treatment,

to drive the man to his knees.

~

The sneezing continued,

off and on then, at first,

the middle of the night,

when he laid down, the worst.

His wife then demanded,

the allergist, he see,

but, nothing was found,

he had no, allergies.

~

It was then the suggestion,

acupuncture he try,

and he nearly passed out,

when the needles, he spied.

He is deathly afraid,

of needles and such,

and since that first visit,

he doesn’t sneeze much.

Not a big fan of needles either!!! Especially needles associated with blood!!!! Ugh. Happy Monday. Sorry the Patriots did not win but it was a pretty fun game to watch regardless!
