Three Blessings for a Sunday Morning

The Irish in me occasionally rears its head. (Enough said.)

I pray you all have a superlative Sunday!

Oh, and on the subject of prayers, please pray for a rain-free day on Saturday

next. I know He will listen to wonderful people such as yourselves.

thanks,

Jake

Three Blessings for a Sunday Morning

A BLESSING

 May the good Lord,

guide your footsteps.

May your path,

be free of stones.

May He smile,

and welcome you.

When that pathway,

leads you home.

 ANOTHER BLESSING

 May you carry your joys,

in a barrow,

and your troubles, in a thimble,

half-full.

YET, ANOTHER BLESSING

 May the Good Lord always,

remember your name,

and may He prepare, for you,

a grand place.

 And may you, remember,

to afford Him, the same,

and daily request,

He not race.

About poemsandponderings

I stand alone to gaze upon my days and years gone by. I've laughed, I've cried, I've loved and loathed, but now, I can't remember why! ~Jack Downing~

Love the blessings–especially the first one. Am praying for no rain on Saturday—-I know it will be a beautiful day for your family. Enjoy the week!

  2. Many, be the good things.
    Few, be troubled times.
That you find along your path,
    as your life unwinds.

    A Blessing Just For You.
    Your pal,
    Jake.
